In June 2015 Lufthansa Consulting once again welcomed OKAY Airways representatives in Frankfurt to perform several workshop sessions for the airline’s operational management. The cooperation with the Chinese carrier already started in 2013 with coaching projects on commercial and operational airline issues in Germany and China.
Main topics of the training this summer were a Quality and Safety Management System, a Risk Management System including the application of BowTie Methodology and a Fuel Efficiency seminar.
The participants had the opportunity to receive detailed insights in developing a Quality and Safety Management System in accordance to best-practices and worked on case studies based on OKAY Airways’ operational environment.
Okay Airways was founded as China’s first privately owned airline in 2004. The carrier is headquartered in Beijing, their main hub is located in Tianjin.
