On 14 November Lufthansa Consulting’s management team and former employees came together to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the company’s alumni meeting.
Managing Director Dr. Andreas Jahnke welcomed about 30 guests to the network event at the company’s headquarters at Frankfurt Airport. After his review of Lufthansa Consulting’s activities and achievements in 2017, he opened the interactive marketplace and invited all those present on a round tour of different exhibition stands designed to promote the exchange of information.
During the walkabout, the alumni gained some exciting insights into the company’s current work and took the opportunity to discuss the points that interested them most in greater depth.
In small teams, the guests then visited the four booths: UAV, Digitalization, Airport 2030 and Scrum. At the UAV station, they had a chance to have an up-close encounter with an industrial drone and view some short videos of Lufthansa Aerial Services inspecting wind turbines and power lines. The Digitalization stand provided an overview of how airline and airport clients can adapt their customer experience strategy and become more customer centric in order to keep pace with the challenges of digitalization and innovation. At the Airport 2030 stop, the alumni also discovered how disruptive technologies will change the future airport business model. Finally, Lufthansa Consulting’s experience with agile project management as an innovative method of supporting complex project work was presented at the Scrum site.
Fruitful conversations and discussions and, of course, delicious snacks and drinks rounded off the evening. Lufthansa Consulting would like to thank all its guests for participating, and looks forward to the next alumni event in 2018.
