Loyalty strategies and customer engagement developments are top at trend events "Points" and "Reach"

Singapore is the location for the FlightGlobal events “Points of difference” and “Reach your customers” from 21 - 24 May 2019 and Lufthansa Consulting is contributing to these in several ways.

At the Points of Difference conference which focuses on Personalized Loyalty Marketing Strategies Georg Baust, Managing Consultant, is on the steering committee of this event and will share his expertise in the Table Talk: “Data as the ultimate revenue stream: How do airlines monetize their data? on Day 1 and in the Panel Talk: “Changing trends and behavior in customer engagement and loyalty” on Day 2. Moreover, conference visitors can meet Georg and Consultant Jessica Gebauer at the Lufthansa Consulting exhibition stand

The Points event looks at the future of loyalty; how can data inform loyalty programs, make them personalized, and tackle challenges around customer engagement and redemption? In addition, it will look at how airlines can add value through experience-based rewards, giving loyalty members the opportunity to earn and redeem points through several avenues.

At the Reach your customers forum the spotlight is on the distribution strategies which deliver customers the right services, at the right time, and through the right channels.
Airlines are operating in a market where digitization is making it constantly harder to add value. In order to avoid being left behind, airlines must identify the tools which allow them to build value into their offering, presenting customers with the right offers and services, and on the right platform. Today, airlines’ bottom line is being impacted by rising costs, shrinking margins, and fierce competition. To counteract, they must capitalize on the demands from increasingly tech-savvy customers to deliver more personalized offers, pricing, and products. To achieve this, and engage dynamically with their customer base, airlines need to dramatically increase their capabilities.

Best of Consulting

For the second time in a row Lufthansa Consulting has been awarded the renowned consultancy prize "Best of Consulting" by the German weekly business news magazine WirtschaftsWoche. The “Excellent” award went to a successful Air Service Development project with Auckland International Airport, the largest airport of New Zealand and the third busiest international airport in Australasia. Lufthansa Consulting and its client Auckland International Airport are incredibly pleased about the award and that the WirtschaftsWoche jury could also be convinced of this successful project. Both look very much forward to their further productive and prosperous cooperation.
