The Russian aviation market is currently undergoing a major transformation. After a period of unfavorable economic and political influences last year the passenger numbers at Russian airports finally recorded slight increases in 2016, in the course of gradual modernization and an economical revival. Against this background the Aircraft Finance and Lease Russia & CIS event, set on 26 April 2017 in Moscow, will cover the issues of aviation finance, aircraft and engine lease and fleet modernization for Russian and CIS airlines.
Lufthansa Consulting will support the sponsorship at the conference and, in addition, Hanns Marienfeld, Managing Consultant at Lufthansa Consulting, will lead a panel discussion on possible developments in the Russian regional air transport market. Several delegates from local airlines as well as a representative of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation will participate in the panel session. The debate will deal with new business strategies adjusted to current market situations, a unique selling position for the Russian market and with general financial and tax issues. The aim of the discussion is to work out the most important challenges and opportunities that may appear for the industry players in a global context.
The financial circumstances are the key factor for growth and cooperation with foreign investors in Russia. The foundation for future collaborations might be positioned with an effective and constructive discussion about contribution perspectives. After all, the latest trends in regard to the aviation development in Russia are promising.
