At the end of November, former Lufthansa Consulting employees met with the company's management at Frankfurt Airport for their annual alumni meeting. Managing Director Dr. Andreas Jahnke had invited the former colleagues for the 7th year in succession, and 40 guests were delighted to take up his invitation.
In keeping with tradition, Dr. Jahnke informed the assembled audience about the Lufthansa Consulting highlights of the past year and gave a preview of the company’s activities planned for 2020. A poster exhibition accompanied by a short presentation gave the alumni an insight into the forthcoming office redesign at their former place of employment as part of the company’s overall re-branding, which has now also started at Lufthansa Consulting. Consultant Matthias Rolfs concluded the brief informative part of the meeting with an impressive report on his voluntary commitment as project manager for the help alliance initiative in Uganda. For many years, Lufthansa Consulting has been supporting the activities of this charitable aid organization and also deploying volunteers from its own ranks.
As usual, the most popular part of the program was the opportunity for former and active employees to network with one another, which lies at the heart of every successful alumni meeting. We guarantee that a lot of time will be set aside for this again next year – that's a promise!
