Mr. Stanislav Solomko is Associate Partner at Lufthansa Consulting heading the representative office in Russia and responsible for Russia, CIS and the Baltic States.


Recent assignments & responsibility

Solomko's consulting experience spans from airports to financial institutions, aerospace companies and of course airlines.
His key recent assignments include development of strategic options for Moscow Aviation Hub, regional hub strategy for the Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation, traffic forecasts and master plans for top airport projects, including “greenfield” Rostov Yuzhnui, as well as evaluation of investment plans for VEB and Gazprombank in several infrastructure projects.

Stanislav is also involved in high-profile aerospace projects in Russia including development of marketing and after sales support concepts for Irkut Corporation (part of United Aircraft Corporation). His international experience includes consulting leading aviation groups in the Middle East, South America, South East Asia and Africa.

Best of Consulting

Lufthansa Consulting has been awarded the coveted consultancy prize "Best of Consulting 2018" by the German weekly business news magazine WirtschaftsWoche. The aviation consultants took part in this competition for the first time and achieved their goal straight away with first place in the category “Competitive Strategy”. The award went to a project which was successfully completed with Czech Airlines (CSA), the national airline of the Czech Republic. Lufthansa Consulting and CSA jointly developed an ancillary revenue strategy and a branded fares concept. The implementation of the overall project resulted in a significant increase in ancillary revenues and thus in a positive operating profit for Czech Airlines.
