Air Integration in South America

The technical executive group on air integration of the South American Council for Infrastructure and Planning will meet in Georgetown to discuss the status and the recent developments of air transport in South America. The objectives of the event hosted by the Union of South American countries are to analyze the airport network system of the subcontinent and recognize industry related trends and investment potential. The workshop will consist of the three topics: the impact of air transport on national economies, opportunities for integration and connectivity, and financial institutions as catalysts for regional air integration. Presentations will be followed by a roundtable discussion about passenger and cargo connectivity in the region. 

Liege Emmerz, Partner and Head of the South American market, will attend the meeting and give a speech entitled “Air transportation and connectivity index – a key driver for economic growth”.
