Positioning African Airports to meet new capacity and efficiency challenges
The African market is important for airlines due to stable growth and high yields. African airports are mainly located in the northern and southern Africa, where particularly the southern airports are being modernized for the soccer World Cup. Sub-Saharan Africa remains a difficult region with large traffic growth but inadequate infrastructure.
The infrastructure constraints at African airports can only be solved with a clear focus on profitability, commercial orientation and professional investors.
