The 5th edition of the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum (GALF) takes place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
It is organized by CAPA – Centre for Aviation and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The Forum will be co-located with the 17th edition of Dubai Airport Show, the world’s largest annual airport event and will feature a series of strategic sessions on today’s leading aviation issues. Airport and aviation leaders from around the globe will come together to address the strategic challenges and opportunities facing airport operators, regulators and airport industry suppliers.

The 20th Arab-German Business Forum takes places at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Berlin. This year’s partner country of the Forum is the Sultanate of Oman.
It is organized in cooperation with the Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, the League of Arab States and the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). As Arab countries and Germany traditionally share close business ties, the conference has become the most essential networking platform to create new and enhance existing business relationships.

The 17th edition of the Airport Show in 2017 will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).

The Iraqi Government and Lufthansa Consulting are continuing their longstanding relationship in order to further enhance the aviation system in Iraq. The country’s Ministry of Transport signed a comprehensive agreement for a long-term strategic advisory and implementation project that will focus on restructuring the national carrier Iraqi Airways and the civil aviation authority (ICAA) and on optimizing Iraq’s airports.
The latest contract aims to implement the vision of the Ministry of Transport
• to strengthen the ICAA in accordance with international standards and best practices

• to transform Baghdad International Airport into a hub serving three continents.

Design of a fully mechanized cargo terminal with a capacity of 320,000 tons/year. In the frame of a cargo area extension of an Egyptian airport a fully integrated cargo city including cargo terminals, forwarder buildings, facilities for the handling of special cargo and related infrastructure were developed. A security concept observing all latest international rules and regulations helped our client to implement a state-of-the-art cargo handling concept.
Significant savings in airline maintenance costs achieved through identification of shortcomings in maintenance processes and identification of key cost drivers. The project management provided on-site support to develop cost saving initiatives and successfully implement the cost reduction measures.
