Sustainable Aviation
Airlines which have not yet implemented the required processes need to act immediately as the submission of the verified tonne-km report 31st of March 2011 is the precondition to get free allowances from 2012 until 2020!
Lufthansa Consulting is therefore offering implementation and pre-verification support for airlines:
- Support in the implementation of processes and procedures in line with EU ETS requirements
- Identification of discrepancies between monitoring plans and processes lived
- Development of action plans to eliminate discrepancies
- Implement required process changes
- After successful implementation, a pre-verification of processes will be conducted in close cooperation with our partners
In cooperation with our partner First Climate, Lufthansa Consulting offers support for emissions certificate trading and risk management:
- Support in emissions certificates trading (selling and purchasing)
- Development of trading strategy for emissions certificates
- Access to the most important international markets through our partners
- Development of an tailored emissions certificate hedging strategy
- Assist in emissions certificates portfolio management
