Project description

As a result of the political aspiration to transform the Egyptian flag-carrier EgyptAir into a holding structure with independent strategic business units, Lufthansa Consulting was commissioned for consulting services to the management of the holding. The entity saw itself confronted with substantial losses, significant challenges in the coming years and limited strategic visioning for its business units. Lufthansa Consulting's project started with an assessment of the current structure, financial system and existing human resource systems. This assessment was followed by the development of human resource policies, a basic financial accounting system and strategies for both the holding and the individual strategic business units.
