From 7 – 8 June 2010, Lufthansa Consulting will host its second Fuel Think Tank workshop in cooperation with the flight performance software provider PACE in Berlin. Following the focus of the first successful event in 2009, the agreement on the challenges for airlines and their fuel performance efficiency, now it’s time to generate ideas and results with an impact on their business. Almost all the twenty executive representatives from international airline companies and regional carriers from last year’s event will continue to support and participate in the 2010 forum.

In addition to the presentations by Lufthansa Consulting and PACE plus the joint workshop sessions on recent special urgent issues, the Think Tank members will again proactively contribute to the event, this time by sharing best practice results from their organizations.

By performing the second Fuel Think Tank, Lufthansa Consulting’s vision − to establish a community in an atmosphere which will enable an open exchange to boost ideas and creativity by thinking outside the box − has already become reality. Different airlines and experts from the industry are creating challenging assumptions, bringing together alternative perspectives − imagine what is possible. Mobilizing their minds in this way enables the Think Tank members to define and review today’s and tomorrow's ingredients for successful fuel management.
