New Lufthansa Consulting Website in Chinese

Well in time for the Olympic Games in Beijing, Lufthansa Consulting has launched a new website in Chinese to communicate more closely with the local market.

Since June 2006, LCG has been operating a sales office in Singapore in order to explore the huge and diverse Asia/Pacific aviation market more intensively and to staff consulting projects with people from the region.

Mr. Marc Oedekoven is our company representative for this region. He is supported by a team of experts which includes Chinese speakers.

Amongst the twelve core markets identified in APAC our focus lies especially on the Chinese aviation industry. China’s GDP is expected to more than triple until 2025 (annual growth 6.8%). In 2025 China will obtain the highest share of regional GDP and will replace Japan from its number one position.

During the next year we plan to increase the awareness of Lufthansa Consulting in China significantly and profit from this growing and powerful market environment. 

In APAC however “it is not just a matter of what you know, but who you know”. Sales in this region is all about People! In many parts of Asia, business is based on the Chinese doctrine of 'Quanxi'. It states the importance of building strong personal relations with your counterparts before business can be addressed.

The new website is an important step closer to our clients in the region.
