Lufthansa Consulting’s Associate Partner Dr. Andreas Kraus was part of the delegation accompanying Germany’s Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Mongolia in July. The trip took place on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Mongolia.
During the visit Dr. Kraus used the opportunity to hold talks with Minister Steinmeier as well as Mongolia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dendev Terbishdagva and the country’s Minister of Roads and Transportation Amarjagal Gansukh.
Lufthansa Consulting had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mongolia in October 2013 to help the country in creating a functioning aviation infrastructure to support its growth and economic development. Mongolia intends to cooperate with the German aviation consultancy and to benefit from their experience and expertise. Now, the follow-up negotiations focused on the further definition of the organization and restructuring of the Mongolian air transport industry.
