A meeting place for the African and Middle East aviation business

From May 10-11, 2015 Bruno Boucher, Associate Partner and General Manager of Lufthansa Consulting’s Djibouti Branch Office, is representing the aviation consultancy at the Aviation Africa 2015 conference and moderated the session "Challenges Facing Airport Development in Africa" on 10 May. Alexander Manakos, Partner responsible for Lufthansa Consulting’s business in the Middle East is also attending the event.

The conference and exhibition takes place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the home of the ‘open skies’. The venue has been chosen as it offers easy access to nationals of African countries. Aviation Africa 2015 aims to bring together government and civil aviation authorities, senior airline management, business aviation operators and specialists, financial and industry consultants, leasing companies, airport management, service company management and leaders from maintenance, training and flight support.

The event is designed to be a meeting place for African and Middle East aviation business. It creates networking opportunities that can work both ways for the development of markets, access to finance, and the growth of business opportunity.
